The breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed the blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries. My husband enjoyed his French toast with a side of fruit. The service at the bed and breakfast was excellent. They have excellent instructions for how to check in, bring your things in, grab your room key and parking. The house is a few feet from the boardwalk! It was nice to have our morning cofee and walk out to the boardwalk in the morning. The room was clean with plenty of towels and toiletries included. Also had a quaint back porch area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch connected to our room, taking in the fresh air and talking. The house had its own living room section with complimentary water, tea and coffee. They also had a jar of homemade chocolate chip cookies my husband loved! It was an old style Victorian type of home...beautiful decor and we had a great time!

We had a spacious room on the top floor, The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were high quality. Excellent bathroom and shower. We were a little surprised that the included breakfast was not served in the inn, but in a cafe owned by the same people just a half block away. Breakfast was very good. The TV wasn't functioning properly, but the staff responded is less than five minutes and fixed the problem.

The baked goods and coffee station were wonderful and tge shared sitting area was spacious, charming and clean. Appreciated being able to borrow beach chairs and tags. Also appreciated the ease of late check in and having a parking space.

Carisbrooke Inn is, without a doubt, my favorite inn at the shore. Maybe anywhere, truthfully! Everything is exceptional ... rooms, amenities, the great room with homemade cookies/coffee/tea, ice cream, and a breakfast not to be believed. John and Agnes have created a warm, welcoming and engaging environment!

perfect b&b, few minutes walk to the boardwalk. balcony outside which was lovely to sit at night. breakfast was provided by the cafe at the corner, which was excellent. room was a decent size. there is also a communal fridge and cookies were left for residents in the morning, which was a lovely touch.
